Permission Denied als root??

Hi, ich habe folgendes Problem, ich möchte ein Programm installieren, aber wenn ich die INSTALL aufrufen will in der shell konsole (mandrake10.2) sagt er mir permission denied, sorgar als root

[ghost@Server ~]$ su
Password:
[root@Server ghost]# dir
Desktop downloads programme pub python samba tmp Trillian ventrilo_srv.log
[root@Server ghost]# cd downloads
[root@Server downloads]# cd dyndns
[root@Server dyndns]# dir
ddclient ez-ipupdate-3.0.11b7
[root@Server dyndns]# cd ez-ipupdate-3.0.11b7
[root@Server ez-ipupdate-3.0.11b7]# ./INSTALL
bash: ./INSTALL: Permission denied

wenn ich normal als ghost angemeldet bin passiert das gleiche, kann ich jetzt nichts mehr ausführen?

mach mal folgendes poste doch mal
ls -al -./install

aber den befehl im Verzeichnis /download/dynds//ez-ipupdate-3.0.11b7 ausführen


poste dan mal das Ergebnis.

was soll das denn für eine datei sein ??

Er gibt dann aus:

-rwxrwxrwx 1 ghost ghost 7832 Aug 8 2000 ./INSTALL*

allerdings hab ich "ls -al ./install" weil er sonst nich wollte

die datei is ne install datei für nen dyndns client

Normalerweise solltest du die Datei ausführen können, als root wie auch als ghost.

Hast du mal die Dcs zu dem Programm gelesen. vielleicht gibts einen Hinweis für dein Problem.

kann die datei jetzt ausführen, hatte noch zwischen meinem ersten beitrag und dem jetzt eben die mit chmod auf 777 gesetzt, vergessen zu erwähnen aber wenn ich jetzt ausführe zeigt er mir folgenden fehler an:

oke, hat sich erledigt, habs mir als RPM runtergeladen, aber ich hacke bei der dateneingabe

ist das interface falsch? oder der host?
