Das Bootmenü bei grub ist die Datei /boot/grub/menu.lst

so sieht z..B. eine Bootdatei auf einem meiner Linuxe aus.
die Zeitspanne wird per timeout gesetzt und steht hier in der Datei auf 45 (also nach 45 bootet das default OS, habe den Eintrag markiert.
Das defaultboot OS wird durch default, hier 0 definiert habe ich auch markiert.
0 bedeutet hier den 1. Bootenüeintrag, der mit title beginnt, habe den Eintrag auch markiert. Das title siehst du am Bildscghirm nicht, nur das was dahinter geschrieben wird erscheint auf dem Bootbildschirm im Menü und auch nur die title Zeile.
Grub zählt immer von 0 aufwärts, deshalb ist default 0 der 1. Bootmenüeintrag, wenn der 2. titleeintrag eben Windows lautet und du Win als 1,. OS booten willst, mußt du nur default schreiben, die Datei /boot/grub/mneu.lst speichern und beim nächsten Booten bootet nach der Zeitspanne X Win, wenn Win der 2. Bootmenüeintrag ist.

Alle zeilen vor denen ein # steht sind auskommentiert und weden im Bootmenü nicht berücksichtigt.
